Mission: |
- The Teaching Committee's mission is to identify
teaching and learning-based issues of relevant for the Division’s
membership and to suggest ways in which the Division might enhance the
value delivered to the membership during the annual conference and
pre-conference activities, in the Division newsletter and listserv, and
on the Division’s web page, or in other ways. The Teaching Committee
also strives to provide members with an easily accessible array of
teaching materials (e.g., reviews of new textbooks, cases, simulations)
and a body of opinion on content and pedagogy in the health care
management domain.
The Division Chair appoints members to the Teaching Committee, subject
to approval by a majority of the elected members of the Executive Board,
and after consultation with the Committee’s Chair. Members are appointed
to overlapping 3-year terms. The Division Chair appoints the Chair of
the Teaching Committee, who serves in a liaison role between the
Committee and the Executive Board.
