Educational Technology Transfer to Poland: Warsaw Akademia Nauk, Krakow
Akademia Ekonomiczna and Lublin Universities
- Co-designed, set up and managed three Post-graduate programs in Poland. Conceived the programs, raised financing and then administered EDHEC Business School’s Program for International Development in Poland. Wrote and administered four Tempus programs. Organized and followed up teacher and student exchanges. Canvassed for Partners (IESE, Spain; Swedish School of Management, Helsinki, Finland, and Universities in the UK, Sweden and Portugal). Organized meetings for European partners, coordinated the programs for seven years.
- Contributed to the setting up of the International Programs office in Academia Ekonomiczna. Krakow Poland. Trained new staff in funding, financial management, and organization of new office.
- Set up MSc programs and offices in Lublin, Poland. Recruited personnel and first cohorts of students.
- Co-Designed Polish academic programs, re-trained Polish faculty members in Western teaching methods in training-of-trainers seminars. Organized and managed the seminars.
- Sarbec Cosmetics, Ltd: Advisor to the CEO and managerial board for internationalization of the firm. 2001-2003.
- Research in Internationalization Strategies, International Transfer of Business Models, Change Management, HRM Practices and Organizational Learning of MNCs. These interests are related with my Ph.D. and the papers that I have presented in the conferences mentioned above.
- Research in the field of organizational change and learning in Post-socialist societies, with a special focus on Eastern vs. Western European management styles, cross cultural learning (Poland–France). Several papers on these subjects were presented at the conferences mentioned above.
